Amy specializes in working with adults facing various challenges, including divorce, relationship issues, grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, parenting, and more. She is committed to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can feel supported in their journey towards change and growth, reconnecting with their inner strengths and aspirations.

Certified in EMDR Therapy, Amy often incorporates this trauma-based technique into her practice, offering clients rapid and transformative results. She is passionate about trauma work and utilizes EMDR Therapy to address issues such as trauma, grief, self-esteem, anxiety, and feeling “stuck.”
In couples therapy, Amy draws on methods such as the Gottman Method and Relational Therapy, integrating insights from relationship experts like Esther Perel and Terry Real. She is committed to helping couples strengthen their relationships and navigate challenges with openness and honesty.
Outside of her practice, Amy enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, kayaking, and gardening. She is married and has a child who attends Drew Charter School. Amy is actively involved in mentoring with the START ME business program for East Lake and serves on the Board of Directors for the Wylde Center.
Amy sees clients in the Kirkwood office on Mondays and Thursdays, offering virtual sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Her counseling rate is $250 per hour for individuals and $300 an hour for couples, and while she does not accept insurance directly, she provides statements for clients to seek reimbursement or apply towards their deductible.
