Amy Robbins Counseling has been providing compassionate therapeutic services to youth, adults, and families in the Atlanta area since 1999. I combine a depth of practical experience with professional expertise into a responsive, nurturing therapeutic atmosphere. The goal of my practice is to support clients in their personal change and self-guided growth.

I offer personalized clinical support to help individuals, couples and teens  to grow, change, and reconnect to their own well of inner strength. Many clients rediscover the power of their own dreams/desires and find the motivation and the techniques to aspire to those dreams once again.

The clinical relationship is an important part of therapy. I would describe myself as laid back, open, honest, loyal, challenging (but in a loving way) and strength-based. I can hold the space for you. I can hold the space for you to dive in deep and be able to come up for air. I can help you get to where you want to go.

Most clients leave our first session feeling heard, connected, empowered, grounded and hopeful.

I am certified in EMDR Therapy, a trauma based tool that provides fast results. Many clients seek me out for EMDR Therapy. You have my permission to Google it. I find it to be an incredible therapeutic technique and I love to incorporate it into therapy whenever we want to.

I am also CPCS (certified professional counseling supervisor) and run two different clinical supervision and consultation groups.

I strongly affirm that my practice is a safe and welcoming place for people of color, immigrants, the LGBTQ community, people of all abilities, religious minorities, women, men and all who desire constructive help or change, whether focused on personal, relational, familial or societal transformation.

In addition, I have two incredible associates, Natalie Casey and Lalah Manly, who are both available for counseling. Natalie only provides virtual counseling; while Lalah sees clients in office as well as virtually. Feel free to jump on their page to read more about them and find ways to connect with either of them.

Be well,

Amy
