Amy Robbins, an Atlanta-based LPC, CPCS and Certified EMDR therapy clinician, has been providing therapeutic services to Atlanta area children, teens, adults, couples and families since 1999.

I see adults for a variety of reasons including divorce, relationships, grief, depression, anxiety, adjustment to life changes, trauma, parenting and the list goes on.

I strive to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which individuals can be supported in their efforts to change and grow as well as become reconnected to their strengths and dreams.

I would describe myself as laid back, open, honest, loyal, challenging (but in a loving way) and strength-based. I can hold the space for you. I can hold the space for you to dive in deep and be able to come up for air. I can help you get to where you want to go.

Most clients leave our first session feeling heard, connected, empowered, grounded and hopeful.

I am certified in EMDR Therapy, a trauma based tool that provides fast results. Many clients seek me out for EMDR Therapy. You have my permission to Google it. I find it to be an incredible therapeutic technique and I love to incorporate it into therapy whenever we want to.

EMDR Therapy is an important part of my clinical world and trauma work is important to me. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and have an interest in utilizing this technique when clinically appropriate. EMDR Therapy has been very helpful in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, anxiety, and when one “feels stuck.” You have my permission to google away about EMDR. Or for specific information on EMDR Therapy please refer to this website or

I see couples for therapy as well and utilize the Gottman Method as well as EFT for Couples. I am very open and honest with each individual in the couples’ therapy process and seek to help each couple get to a stronger place in their relationship.

I love working with teenagers in therapy. I love taking them out of the office to get coffee or a snack and process all the things that challenge this age group. Don’t be surprised to find your teens doing a sandtray, therapeutic art activity or bibiliotherapy in my room.

Outside of the office, I love to hike, camp, kayak, garden and get to the water (Honestly any water will do- beach, river, waterfalls, lake, etc.). I am married and my kiddo goes to Drew Charter School.

I see clients office in the office Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I am virtual on Wednesdays and Fridays.

My counseling rate is $200 an hour. I do not accept insurance. I am happy to give you a statement to be reimbursed (or applied to your deductible) with your insurance. Lots of options. Feel free to reach out to me at 706-406-3404 or
