My name is Ben Lamm and I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor.

I see adults for therapy. Whether you’re looking to make a change, connect with yourself, deepen your relationships, overcome roadblocks, or find a sense of purpose, now is the time to invest in yourself.  I also see teens ages 16 and up.

Everyone has a story to tell. I will help you examine yours. I approach each client with humility, compassion, and understanding.

We will slow down and dig into your experience of life, bringing awareness to what is going on in the present moment and what you need to move forward.

I believe true healing takes place in the context of connection, and more than any particular technique, my goal is to build a genuine and collaborative therapeutic relationship with you.

From this solid foundation, we will uncover old patterns, consider new perspectives, explore new skills, and solidify your values. All with the goal of cultivating a life that is meaningful to you. You already have the inner resources to make this happen, I will guide you through the counseling process.

I have always been fascinated by the human experience. Before I became a counselor, I was an actor.  My own journey of growth centered around learning to connect with and express my emotions, particularly the ones I had spent a lifetime avoiding.

I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. I have extensive training in Crisis Stabilization and inpatient psychiatric settings. Amy Robbins LPC is my primary clinical director and secondary clinical supervisor.

I am currently available Monday evenings, Tuesday mornings, Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. I work with adolescents, adults and couples.

My rate is $150 an hour. I reserve some sliding scale spots based on income. I do not accept insurance, but I am happy to provide you with a statement for insurance reimbursement.
