Natalie Casey is a laid back Licensed Professional Counselor who believes in providing a safe environment for her clients that is empathic, non-judgmental and culturally sensitive.
As a therapist, I strive to help my clients reach their goals through self-exploration. Among many things, I practice goal setting, mind/body connection and focus on the here-and-now with my clients. Although I believe in meeting my clients where they are, at times, I will push my clients to help them achieve a greater sense of self. My clients are always in the driver’s seat and I will be their passenger to help guide and redirect them when needed.
I am a Brainspotting trained therapist and work with adolescents, families, couples and adults to overcome issues related to trauma, substance use, and family separation. I work with adolescents and adults that experience anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and adjustment to life issues. Some of my clients are neurodivergent, exploring their identity, or struggle with obsessive thoughts and behaviors.
I also see clients that need a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings and yearn to reach their goals. I thoroughly enjoy helping clients navigate life transitions and better understand themselves and their interpersonal relationships.
I am an LGBTQ+ ally and consider my therapy to be welcoming for people of color, immigrants, people of all abilities, religious minorities, and people of all sizes. I am committed to social justice and will help my clients address issues related to marginalization, and cultural and societal expectations.
One of the most amazing aspects of my therapy process is introducing clients to Brainspotting. Brainspotting is a neurobiological modality that allows clients to identify, process, and release sources of trauma that the client may be unaware is connected to their symptoms of anxiety, depression, chronic pain, obsessive thoughts, dissociation, and a variety of other symptoms. Please reach out if you would like to learn more about Brainspotting.
My commitment as a therapist is to walk alongside my clients during the therapeutic process and provide a safe environment for everyone to feel trusted and heard. I will help my clients find answers and support their healing and growth towards a positive future.
I see clients virtually.
My rates are $175 an hour. Please note that I have a few limited sliding scale spots if needed.
